Hello foodies and welcome to my NearSay blog. I have my own blog called Rich In Spice as well, check it out if you like what you read. I am a twenty something Connecticut based public relations professional working in New York City. My PR focus is on hospitality, travel and luxury lifestyle clients….go figure.
A passion of mine has always been indulging in ‘out-of-this-world’ cuisine– a direct reflection of my mother. I grew up eating an equal balance of gourmet meals cooked flawlessly by my mother at home and dining out at various restaurants across Connecticut and New York that my parents wanted to try. Now that I am an adult, nothing has changed. I equally enjoy cooking a delicious meal for friends and family and trying new restaurants. I love to travel, experience culture, and immerse myself in other ways of life.
About my NearSay Contributions and Rich In Spice
One fact you will realize quickly when reading my posts: I look for the spiciest dish on any menu. When cooking at home I usually ask my friends if they like spicy food before I even begin preparing my meal. Hey, I can’t help it… my marriage with crushed red pepper is one to envy. This blog was named because I believe the mix of spices in a dish is what creates flavor. Anyone can make a basic dish, but “spicing it up” with various herbs, marinades, tapenades, sauces, ingredients, etc. is what really makes the dish. It is a talent to perfectly combine spices to satisfy the palate.
