Greenpoint is my home away from home having moved to New York from Britain several years ago. What makes this 'hood so special is the combination of thriving small businesses, burdgeoning creative projects, diverse demographics and a priceless view of Manhattan. If you've never been here, you really are missing out.... Take the ferry or subway, ride your bike, grab a cab, walk over a bridge - no excuses!
