Bio

Originally from Memphis, Lanie Zipoy has lived in New York City for 15 years.  Her career has run a wide gamut.  A former masage therapist, Lanie worked in fashion as a color forecaster and also co-founded and edited the pioneering online tennis magazine RowZTennis.com (1999-2003).  Her photographs have appeared in Details magazine, among others.  Currently, she is a producer and a public relations consultant for the arts.

A dedicated volunteer, Lanie was named one of New York Care's top volunteers in 2006 and lauded for her efforts by East Harlem Tutorial Program in 1998.  She is a member of the New York Innovative Theatre Awards Honorary Awards Committee and the League of Professional Theatre Women.
