I have lived in NYC for 18 years. I've been a college student here, a swinging single gal here, one of the marrieds here, and now a downtown NYC mommy of two. I love living in New York City, and I can't imagine living anywhere else.
Before the kids came along, I was that person you always came to for the "latest". Whether its knowing about the latest restaurant, the best place to get a manicure, or just the simplest way to get something done, I was the one people went to for advice.
We moved to the Financial District when our eldest daughter, O, was born - eight years ago, and we never left. An article in the New York Times on February 20th, 2009 inspired me to start blogging. With all the new families moving downtown, there has to be other mommys out there who have the same thoughts and go through the same experiences as I do.
Now a somewhat experienced mommy, I still have a wealth of information, but its just a bit skewed for the -- that's right -- the downtown NYC family set. I'm excited to share my experiences and thoughts, and would love to hear your experiences as well!
