Bio
As a freelance web designer and blogger, I'm usually working in one of the many WiFi hotspots around Brooklyn, whether it's Park Slope, Fort Greene, Williamsburg or some other neighborhood in Brookyn or Manhattan. There are just too many things going on that you just miss from being behind a desk in an office.
If I'm not there, you can usually catch me on the go, walking or on my bike.
I am the creator and organizer of NYIEN, pronounced like the number '9' and stands for New York Investors and Entrepreneurs Network. I am also active in local community activities including supporting our local produce farms.
I love meeting new people, helping them with what they do by promotion through website design and social media, or as a lifestyle coach, helping people reconnect through themselves and live healthier more balanced lives, both professionally and personally.
It is not only created for people who want to invest and startups, but also professionals who want to meet other professionals in their fields or other fields. We have people in all sorts of professions - real estate, law, IT people, as well as yoga and fitness trainers, health coaches, and even pet sitters. It is a vibrant group and membership is open to anyone who just wants to connect, relax and have a good time.
Other times I'm with my family and when I need time by myself, I'm usually writing or painting. Creating artwork is a way I personally reconnect with myself. You can view some of my works on this site. Running is another great way of getting in tune with myself. I run in a unique way - barefoot. I plan to run Brooklyn's innaugural marathon this November, so if some barefoot runner zips past you in Prospect Park, or if at some point in December or January you see some guy in bare feet or on rare occasion, flip flops, just give him a friendly wave and I'll wave back!
