Because You're Too Smart to Speak Only One Language

About Fluent City

These days, knowing a second language is becoming more and more important, both in city life and in the workforce. With employers searching for candidates able to speak two, three, or more languages, knowing a foreign language may put you at the forefront of your employment competition.

Fluent City, formerly FluentBooklyn, is proud to bring proven and successful language classes to the New York City area. Offering French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Arabic and Mandarin classes, students will learn, in a classroom environment, how to speak the language of their choice. Generally, these classes total 20 hours, meeting two hours, once a week for 10 weeks. Private lessons and additional workshops are also available.

Unlike other language schools, Fluent Brooklyn is designed with the busy New Yorker's schedule in mind. The once-per-week classes allow for minimal planning, while the classes themselves are engaging and entertaining. Professors at Fluent Brooklyn are all young, fun and quite passionate about what it is they do and speak. Their goal is simple: to get the words off the page and out of your mouth, and get you speaking with confidence.

In addition to learning a language, Fluent City organizes trips to the country of the language you're studying to be immersed for further education.

Classes are available in both Williamsburg and Manhattan, with prices varying based on courses. Kids language classes are also available.
