French Bistro - Upper East Side

Le Paris Bistrot

About Le Paris Bistrot

After seventeen years as Bistro Du Nord, the beloved Carnegie Hill neighborhood restaurant has re-vamped its ambiance, menue, and style to that of a modern and delightfully praisien bistro "Le Paris."

Still under the ownership of P. Laurent, Le Paris now offers a classic Left Bank atmosphere, complete with twinkling candle-light and music francaise. The beloved black and white pictures of Bistro Du Nord remain, accompanied by a new, more sleek and romantic interior.

The two floors of the restaurant offer expanded seating capacity, as well as the variety of a side-walk cafe or an intimate fine dining experience. The tantilizing menu reflects the new style of Le Paris, and has been streamlined to include the old favorites of Bistro Du Nord, along with fresh alternatives like Sea Bass with fennel and roasted tomato sauce; braised short ribs with scallions and celary root puree; and the ever-popular creme caramel and tarte tatin courtesy of the new french chef Yllan Laloum.

For any francophile, the menu would not be complete without an extensive wine list by the bottle or glass.

Le Paris is open every day of the week from 11:30a.m. to 11:00p.m. and still offers the excellent three course Pre-Thater menu from 5-7p.m. every night, as well as the famous Brunch Francais on Saturdays and Sundays.

As you walk through the door of Le Paris, you will truly be transported to the city of light.

Walk-in or book your reservations today to get a taste of the best French food this city has to offer!
