Mount Tom Day Camp

Since 1955, thousands of children ages 3-14 have experienced the Mount Tom Day Camp difference. The key ingredient is our staff model: each group is led by an experienced, professional educator who spends the entire camp day with your children.

The 10-acre facility in New Rochelle, NY, offers a full range of activities, including swim, cultural and performing arts, athletics and an outoor adventure course.   Additionally, a 19-room mansion, featuring comfortable rooms, covered outdoor lunch patios and a large kitchen, serves as a marvelous centerpiece and sheltered place for all kinds of weather.

Serving generation after generation is what Mount Tom is most proud of, with many former Mount Tom members now sending their children to the camp. The trust and relationships formed at Mount Tom last more than the summer – they last a lifetime.

Our leadership team carries out Mount Tom’s mission by ensuring all campers build positive relationships, take healthy risks, try new activities and increase self-esteem. Teachers and coaches help campers learn and enhance social, athletic and cultural skills every minute of every day. Our pools, fields and courts provide the perfect space for our campers to participate in over 50 developmentally appropriate, fun-filled activities.
