"This place is awesome and very convenient to Central Park! We came to NY City to visit from Pennsylvania so we were looking for a cheaper way to get around the city. I had purchased a great deal on Groupon and couldn't miss out on this deal since the original price is $40 for an all day rental. Not too bad since it comes with a lock, helmet, basket and map of Central Park for free, you just have to ask for it. At first I was a little skeptic about renting at this place because there were barely any reviews, but I would recommend this place to anyone. I arrived early around 8am and was delighted to see that there was not a line and a whole lot of bikes. However, later in the day around 4pm there were more people renting bikes. Doesn't take long to fill out paperwork to rent a bike and the service was fine. You do have to leave a photo ID at the front to ensure your return but other than that we were out of there within ten minutes on our bikes. I ventured out on my own bicycle with a pal and enjoyed the freedom of having transportation throughout the city instead of fighting for taxis and looking for parking spaces. Just return the bikes anytime before closing and even returning the bikes went by quick. Our bikes were almost like new and still in great condition. And I did notice that my bike didn't have any reflectors so if you're riding at night be careful." Sue N.
