Welcome to SkyIce Sweet & Savory of New York City, an exotic destination for satisfying your sweet and savory spirits. SkyIce specializes in premium all natural homemade ice cream and sorbet, and traditional authentic Northern Thai comfort food.
A family business emanating from the northern mountains of the Chiang Mai Provence and Bangkok in Thailand our mission is to offer you a distinguished out-of-the-ordinary experience with health and mother earth in mind.
Our unique style and flavors are designed to dazzle your taste buds and take you where no ice cream or sorbet has taken you before. A few of our most celebrated distinctions include Thai Tea, Black Sesame Seaweed, Caramel Sea Salt, Raspberry Cilantro and original SkyIce desserts; Ice Cream "Sushi Rolls," Ice Cream "Sashimi" and "Non-Fried Fried Ice Cream." With over a 100 flavors in our repertoire we shuffle monthly while minding the seasons.
Not to be outdone, the savory side of the menu offers a wide range of options. No-Carb Pad Thai, Non-Fried Fried Curry Puffs, Savory Thai Crepes, a variety of Curries, Noodles, Soups and Salads.

There are numerous positive comments already about [SkyIce’s] tasty and uniquely flavored ice creams (which I wholeheartedly agree with) so I am going to focus on their food. It's delicious. What stands out is that it's flavorful and is completely unready compared to usually Thai food... The point is that sometimes while you are craving Thai, you appreciate a non-greasy and refreshing "light" meal. SkyIce offers just that. Wow! My husband I stopped in after having had dinner nearby without having had dessert. We went in because the place looked welcoming and intriguing and had ice cream. And what ice cream it was! We chose the black sesame seaweed ice cream and the rose lychee sorbet. Both were amazing and left us saying to each other that we'd just had the best ice cream and sorbet we'd ever had (and trust me, we've had a lot of ice cream and sorbet and are very picky about what we like!). It was made even sweeter by how warm and friendly the women who made and served the wonderful creations were. We are looking forward to making many more trips to Park Slope just to try more of what SkyIceNYC has to offer. Maybe we should walk the several miles there to make up for what we'll be savoring. I just love this place. If it were any closer to my apartment, I'd probably be there daily. The draw for me is the amazing, innovative ice cream and sorbet flavors that change regularly. My absolute favorites are the black sesame-seaweed ice cream and the cucumber-lime sorbet. I mean, where else are you going to get choices like that? The combinations are sometimes unusual but always delicious, and they really taste like the ingredients. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very nice.
