Umberto's Clam House

About Umberto's Clam House

For 40 years, Umberto's Clam House has been serving Little Italy and become a dining institution and destination for New Yorkers, tourists and celebrities.

With an unpretentious atmosphere and an enduring concern for freshness, founder Umberto Ianniello worked tirelessly to achieve unprecedented quality and uniqueness at his restaurant. This came to fruition in his open kitchen (which became part of Umberto's alluring ambiance) and helped make Umberto's Clam House an overnight success!

Our new menu features Umberto's legendary Hot Red Clam Sauce which is simmered to perfection for hours, just as it was originally made in 1972. Umberto's also offers many new exciting dishes such as Short Rib Ragu over Penne and Spiedini a la Romano.

Umberto's is proud to announce their new Late Night Dining Experience and will serve an array of comfort foods such as eggs Benedict, omelettes made to order, cheeseburgers and fries, BLTs, chicken cutlet sandwiches and more. For a limited time only come in late night and receive a free fried calamari appetizer.
