B2B Sales Operations & Marketing Manager



NearSay.com, the fastest growing hyperlocal news and marketing platform, is looking for a passionate, methodical sales manager to help position and market its local SMB business marketing platform, LocalVox (http://localvox.com).  LocalVox is building a local and affiliate sales force to sell local businesses the ability to broadcast their events, deals and announcements across the web, email, social media and partner affiliate sites with simple tools at a low monthly price point. 



Responsibilities

  • Overseeing Salesforce to ensure we are approaching our most valuable targets, analyzing effectiveness and driving process. Reporting directly to the executive team.
  • Refine messaging, collateral including co-selling with sales team members
  • Creating direct marketing campaigns for SMBs to raise awareness, increase sales pipeline and improve close rates
  • Help in hiring & training new hires and sales affiliates on selling the Broadcast platform
  • Identifying sales distribution partnerships with PR companies



Requirements

  • At least 3-6 years manager level experience in B2B marketing and sales, highly preferred in the local SMB space
  • Experienced with CRM, Salesforce highly preferred
  • Experience selling or managing a sales team for an online product in the local merchant space (SEO, SEM, social media, advertising, directories, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation skills, the drive to be successful in a startup environment

Sales Associate

NearSay is seeking an aggressive, results oriented sales representative to sell a local business marketing and advertising product priced at a competitive advantage. This individual will be charged with prospecting, lead generation and cold calling (via phone and face-to-face) with the intent to sign up new clients for NearSay. You will utilize strategic prospecting skills, creative selling techniques; you will execute sales calls and bring closure to both long and short sales cycles for sign ups, sponsorships and integrated programs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting, qualifying and closing on your list of leads within assigned categories and territorie
  • Sales process management and up to date CRM maintenance
  • Manage new customer relations and follow-up to client services team

 

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in the print, radio, or online sales, Local B2B sales a strong 
  • Proven track record of generating new business i.e. be a pro-active account seeker and closer across a new book of business
  • Familiarity with CRM and Order Management software systems such as salesforce.com
  • Prior experience working with sales organizations and ability to monitor and maintain key performance indicators
  • MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Outstanding communication, questioning, listening, negotiation and relationship-building skills
