University Settlement at the Houston Street Center is a vital social service institution, bringing forth programs in mental health, early childhood education, literacy, and adolescent development. Aiming to support programs for all ages, they are proud to present the Senior HeART (Health, Art and Technology) Winter 2012 Session for adults age 50 and over.
This Winter Package Special includes 8 courses for 8 weeks for as low as $100.
HeART health classes include lessons for swimming, fitness, dance and yoga. The art portion of the program focuses on landscaping, Chinese brush painting and clay craft. In the technology courses the attention is put on digital photography and Photoshop.
Winter Package Special includes up to 2 aquatics, 3 fitness and 3 art classes. For ages 60 and above, an 8-course session will cost $100, and for ages 50 to 59 the cost is $150.
The normal standard pricing for an 8-week session is $35 for a one-hour class or $70 for a two-hour class for seniors 60 and older. Adults from ages 50 to 59 can choose a one-hour class for $45 a session or a two-hour class for $90 a session.
