If you're looking to see what's new in the New York music scene and would like to support a worthy cause in the process,then swing by RBar this Thursday, November 17th, for Keyke's album release party! Her record is called “Live in NYC” and 20% of the earnings from CD sales will go to "Prevent Child Abuse America", a charity dedicated to preventing the abuse and neglect of our nation’s children.
The night will begin at 8pm and will be hosted by former mayoral candidate, Jimmy Mcmillan (the rent is too damn high!) In addition to a set by Keyke, the night will feature performances by three other artists, K M E R K, Coli & my good friend Alan Merrill. The fact Alan wrote the classic, I Love Rock N Roll while a member of The Arrows, is rapidly becoming one of popular music's worst kept secrets! Along with great music there will also be free pizza, cupcakes and raffles throughout the night.
