With the busy schedule that we all have during the course of the year, it may be hard to find time to get your kids involved and find programs that they can take part in. Well now, there's no need to sift through your calendar and find time to search for something to do. You're just in time to join University Settlement as they roll out a new community program for parents to learn about middle to high school student programs with STRIDE Family Night at The Houston Street Center, University Settlement.
The STRIDE after school program is composed of a comprehensive curriculum that is designed specifically for middle school and high school students. The STRIDE program is also particularly helpful to high school students with offering ways for promoting positive leadership skills, and educational growth through academic support.
Student enrichment, guidance and personal support are at the cornerstones of University Settlement's STRIDE program and all activities provides the opportunity to foster development. The Houston Street Center provides a full-sized gym, competition-size indoor pool and modern classroom facilities for students.
STRIDE Family Night will take place on Monday, February 13 at 5:45 p.m. in Seminar Room 4. Topics to be discussed for parents who are interested in enrolling their child include:
