You don't have to have a beating heart to fall in love.
Bring the kids out to Strand Bookstore for a pre-Valentine's Day event on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 3-4 p.m. featuring a reading and zombie-drawing craft hour with Scott Campbell.
Scott Campbell is the illustrator behind author Kelly DiPucchio's "Zombie in Love." The book follows Mortimer, a love-sick zombie trying to find the ghoul of his dreams.
Guests will enjoy a reading of the book and lessons from Mr. Campbell on drawing his favorite zombies. This event is open to children aged 3 and up, and their is a $5 fee per child for craft supples. After the reading, Mr. Campbell will be signing copies of "Zombie in Love."
The event takes place in the Children's Department on the 2nd floor.
