For over five decades, Philip Glass continues to be at the forefront of contemporary music and art. In honor of his musical accomplishments, a celebratory series of events are scheduled to showcase the wide array of talents and creative works by Glass.
Beginning February 23 and running through February 26, the four day celebration is programmed by Glass himself and features works based on Allen Ginsberg’s epic poem “Kaddish,” as well as various symphonic works composed by Glass over the years.
Taking place at Park Avenue Armory, the event is comprised of five separate programs over the span of four days, the Tune-In Music Festival will feature Glass’s own music, including his definitive work Music In Twelve Parts, as well as music, poetry, and art created and performed by his muses, collaborations and protégées.
Each day is subdivided into multiple events and parts. Tickets are still available and are priced accordingly.
