From homework, to chores, kids work hard. They spend most of their classroom time learning new skills and required class material to ensure that they stay on pace. After all that, a better option for them to continue developing their skills is by participating in fun online after school programs with NYChessKids!
With all the great chess programs that NYChessKids provides for children, who enjoy playing games during the course of the year, it was only natural that the next great move would be to offer an easily accessible program online for children to perfect their craft.
NYChessKids is now offering daily online lectures until March 22, to give kids an extra edge in the game. Interactive lectures take place Monday-Thursday at 6 pm, and classes are open to children of all ages and skill levels. Each lecture will allow children the opportunity to participate in classes in the comfort of their own home, while learning strategies and problem solving tactics from interactive games. NYChessKids will help kids become champions at chess!
Online lectures can also be provided in after school programs, where the instructor will provide your child with a 45 minute lesson, and puzzles to master the art of the game. Children will be able to solve and write the answers down on a paper, and if they need additional help, their instructor can guide them through every step of the process to grasp new learning techniques.
Lectures provide a fun and easy way to help kids rememeber what they've learned and put it to good use. Those who already have a NYChessKids membership and are currently registered in afterschool programs are eligible for a discount.
