Alison Price Becker's Alison Eighteen has returned to the Flatiron restaurant scene after nearly 10 years. While currently only serving dinner, Alison Eighteen hopes to open for breakast and lunch soon.

While reviews since the opening have been few, Eater brings us the early word on this newly opened eatery.

On the good side, Wine Spectator stopped by and found the "...straightforward dishes elevated by careful preparation and presentation," pointing out the affordability of the "short" wine list. A Yelp review simply raved about Alison Eighteen. "The dishes have a elegant simplicity to them, or put another way the dishes aren't challenging to your taste buds. I really didn't know that octopus or lamb shoulder could be so delicious," it read.

There really wasn't many bad reviews of Alison Eighteen. The closest comes from the New York Journal, which called their experience, "just fine."
