Metal-heads and moshers should start getting pumped up because three major metal/progressive-rock bands are teaming up on a North American tour and are scheduled to come to Gramercy along the way, writes Next Mosh. The bands Tesserac and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster will be playing with the well-known Canadian metal band Protest the Hero, who is releasing their third album Scurrilous in March. The date for the show is set for Thursday, May 3, 2011 and will take place at the Blender Theater. The tickets for this show will go on sale this Friday, January 21 through Live Nation.
