You might start seeing Donna Karen clothes cropping up on Manhattan streets, but don't worry, you're not going crazy.

Starting in Gramercy, DKNY is opening up pop-up stores around town for the next few days, with other locations in Columbus Circle and Meatpacking District on West 13th St. and 9th Ave.

Its first Gramercy location is on Broadway and East 23rd Street.

Thanks to marketers Steel Space Productions, who recently moved up the kudos ladder to TriBeCa from Montreal, the decor is as soft and feminine and a steel box, says DNAinfo.

The purpose behind this is to make the pop-up easy to move and keep set-up time under an hour. Another tecchy trait of this short-term store is that all purchases are made online via iPads (is there anything those things can't do?!).

And because this is the time of year that the fashion world gives back, a portion of proceeds made at the pop-up store will go towards City Harvest, which feeds New York City's homeless and hungry. Is Donna Karen in competition with Lauren Bush for most philanthropic?
