We've had a long-running discussion around the AMP3 offices about Girl Scout Cookies, and how they really need to move their cookie sales online. Sure, the point of door-to-door sales is to teach young girls the value of hard work, but aren’t we at a day in age where there should be a badge for the budding tech start-up Scout?
To my knowledge, this doesn’t exist yet, but the next best thing happened today: a Girl Scout Cookie Pop-Up Store two blocks from our Flatiron District office.
From March 15th through May 5th, New Yorkers can fulfill their cookie cravings at one of five pop-up locations throughout the city (including 23rd Street) where they will be selling all the classics – Trefoils, Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, and Do-si-dos, as well as newbies – Dulce de Leche, Lemon Chalet Cremes, and Thank U Berry Munch.
Already in a complete state of sugar shock, we've put a serious dent in our initial round of boxes. The good news is they taste even better than I remembered. The bad news is they taste even better than I remembered, and now they are a little too accessible.
