In a display that resembles a Mobius strip of art imitating life imitating art, the Fashion Center BID's Space for Public Art will feature a woman sitting in a storefront decorating paper cups throughout the month of March. Racked informs us that the woman in question is Gwyneth Leech, a visual artist whose Hypergrafia exhibit will feature hundreds of paper coffee cups. She inhabits her very public workspace for 90 minutes Monday through Friday, meaning Garment District workers on their lunch hours now have something besides the envelope-pushing outfits of FIT students to satisfy their people-watching impulses.

Get all the info on Gwyneth Leech's display of being and making public art at the Fashion Center BID by going to Racked.

The Fashion Center BID is located at 209 West 38th Street, at Seventh Avenue.
