This fall, Bryant Park is saying goodbye to Fashion Week and outdoor movies and welcoming ice skating and holiday fun during this time of season.
New Yorkers are still getting used to the fact that summer is over and installation of the 2011 Citi Pond, Holiday Shops, and Celsius will begin soon.
Local residents and tourists alike now have until October 14 to enjoy the lawn at lunchtime, and piano melodies in the park because the transformation will begin that night after the park closes. Citi Pond will open on Oct. 27 and stay open until Feb. 26.
Celsius will open again, with rinkside views, offering lunch, dinner, and drinks every day. You can enjoy your hot toddy indoors in their glass-enclosed lounge or on the outdoor terrace under a heat lamp.
Park visitors should also keep in mind that Le Carrousel is also open every day through the fall and winter from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and stays open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Extended hours attractions at the park will also be available during the holiday season around Thanksgiving and Christmastime.
Bryant Park fall hours will be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. until Citi Pond opens. The park will close at midnight on all Fridays and Saturdays throughout the fall.
For a schedule of hours of operation for winter attractions, visit the Bryant Park website.
