French artist Maurice Benayoun is unveiling his newest public exhibition at the Big Screen Plaza, at 851 Sixth Avenue. The exhibition entitled Occupy Wall Screens is a visual exhibition meant to track the worldwide emotional trends with global financial systems. Benayoun aims to embody the recent global economic crisis through familiar visual symbols such as stock tickers and Bloomberg-style news programs. The title of the exhibit is inspired by the Occupy Wall Street movement and Benayoun told Artlog, “It is the beginning of something that can extend the actual Occupy Movement into other realms.”
