Arriving just in time for those sizzling hot summer nights, XVI Lounge is a bar-lounge that attempts to bring style to the economy-friendly Hilton Garden Inn. Perched on the rooftop of the hotel, the luxurious lounge imitates a trend of bringing an intoxicating blend of affordabilty and trendy enviornment to the public, along with projection screens that play classic films.
The name XVI, as BlackBook points out, is an apparent reference to King Louis the 16th, even though the bar is located on the 16th floor.
According to BlackBook, the service is "casual but attentive" and the cocktails tend to stay "away from all that over-thought mixology nonsense in favor of the fun and sexy."
