The holiday season can take a heavy toll on all of us, but unlike us, animals can't speak up.

Just weeks after Charlie, a carriage horse, collpased and died in the middle of the street, another horse fell to the ground in the busy streets, the New York Daily News reports.

Witnesses rushed to the horse's aid after it fell outside Central Park Sunday afternoon. The horse was towing four people when it collapsed near Grand Army Plaza at 59th Street and Fifth Avenue around 4:30 p.m.

Though a spokesman for the Horse and Carriage Association said "no horse collapsed," the incident was caught on camera, very clearly showing what happened.

After an inspection by the ASPCA, the horse was deemed healthy. Still, animal rights activists believe the horses are being overworked during the holiday season.
