Ok, kids don't be jealous that you're parents get to stay up till midnight waiting for the ball drop on New Year's Eve.
McNally Jackson Books is hosting a junior version of a New Year's Eve party from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to celebrate with people their own age and get drunk on juice boxes and high off lots of sugar.
In welcoming 2012 the kids will be able to make noisemakers, paper whistles, and crazy hats. Dress your kid to celebrate with some fun New Year's garb like sparkling hats, bow ties, or whatever tickles your fancy.
All the fun will culminate in a countdown to a simulated ball drop getting closer to the real thing.
