The Children’s Museum of the Arts is on the verge of finally completing their move from Chelsea to Hudson Square and on Saturday, October 1 they'll celebrate their grand opening.
The museum now boasts a slide that will serve as a more entertaining alternative to stairs, a “quiet room” for parents to have down time, and other events for children.
For CMA’s opening weekend festivities, there will be a lot of things going on. An interactive photo booth, face painting and chalk art will be available for free outside of the museum until 3 pm. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. there will be a large block party to celebrate the grand opening of the museum.
Children have curious minds so they can run amuck and try out the media equipment for $10 a person.
Visit Children's Museum of The Arts for future events and exhibits.
