Is your dad a huge basketball junkie and you're still looking for something to do for Father's Day? Look no further than the South Street Seaport this weekend because NBA Nation is coming to the Pier 17 for two days with its moving basketball court for a weekend of fun for all ages.
On Saturday and Sunday, June 18-19, children can bring their fathers to meet NBA legends Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins and former New York Knicks standout Earl "The Pearl" Monroe. For the basketball-challenged or for people who just want to improve their game, lessons will be taught by NBA players while the fathers will have the chance to stretch their aged muscles for slam dunk competitions. Other prizes and contests are also scheduled for the event.
