Tribeca residents, give a warm welcome to the new basement brewery, disguised as a restaurant, 508 Gastrobrewery.
Inside the suave gastrobrewery, Tasting Table reports the brewmaster and co-chef Anderson Sant'anna de Lima, and wife and co-chef Jennifer Sant'anna Hill, take a lot of pride in the cuisine, including gnocchi and lamb with lavender leaves, and a short rib burger with deep-fried yuccas bravas dusted with smoked paprika.
The chefs proudly offer a selection of homemade beers to accent each dish's delicious flavors. From the caramel-hinted Belgian choice, to the tropical Citra Common, and the banana and cloves hefeweizen, the beer selections are as unique as the dishes.
So wether you're out with the boss or the buds, 508 is the prime place to grab a brew, and also enjoy $1 oysters.
