With Valentine's Day right around the corner our thoughts turn to the birds and the bees. But did you ever wonder what those critters are thinking about? What's their take on life, love and all the things that matter to us? On Friday, February 10th you can find out at an informative lecture called Exploring Animal Minds.
Have you ever wondered if dolphins have families, or if a chimp is good with tools? Did you know that birds steal from each other and that bees communicate through dance? You'll learn all that and more in the first of a monthly series of moderated panel discussions where a group of world-renowned scientists share the latest information on animal intelligence, feelings and behavior.
Exploring Animal Minds was created by an organization called Thinking Animals and will be moderated by well known dolphin researcher, Diana Reiss Ph.D. author of“Dolphin in the Mirror”.
The event will take place at Hunter College and will begin at 7PM. Admission is $25 in advance or $30 @ the door, $15 for students with ID. You can also attend a private reception following the event for an additional fee of $35. Tickets for both the lecture and the reception can be purchased @: www.Thinkinganimals.org.
