Celebrate the end of your year right!
There's no better place to celebrate New Year's Eve than New York City and there are plenty of fantastic ways to do it in Chelsea.

Parties
Party with 92Y and start 2012 with a bang! Enjoy a ballroom-dancing session from 8-9 p.m. and a club scene from 9 p.m. till 2 a.m. Toast the evening and sweat all night to crushing beats.
Shows
Have a little extra coin in your pocket you don't want to bring into next year? If so, head to Feinstein's dressed to the nines (that means jackets guys) for a cabaret. Michael Feinstein joing three-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara for a pair of ritzy shows. Tickets include a three-course dinner and champagne.
Live Music
Join chamber orchestra group, The Knights, for a night of music led by Brooklyn conductor Eric Jacobsen. They'll perform Purcell's Fantasia Upon One Note, Riley's In C and Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 in C minor (Op. 67). A champagne toast will happen during intermission.
Outdoor Events
Meet at the Central Park Bandshell (5th Ave. and 72nd Street) for a four-mile race sponsored by Emerald Nuts. There will be a costume contest and parade, DJs and fireworks at midnight. Sure, you could spend the night eating and drinking, but why not get some exercise too?
