The trio that brought you hot-spots like Avra, Lavo and Tao recently took over a space at 1032 Lexington Avenue, according to Grub Street.
The space had formerly been used by Payard Bakery up until Francois Payard opted to pull out of his lease last November.
Mark Packer, Nick Pashalis and Nick Tsoulos are currently deciding whether they should use the space to open a second branch of Avra or come up with a new steakhouse concept.
"They just need to figure out if an uptown [Avra] branch would cannibalize the midtown location," revealed an inside source to Grub Street. "Right now they're thinking it would affect about 15 percent of their customers."
