Although Petco stores nationwide are having a major pet adopt-a-thon this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, April 9-10 to help pet lovers find their best new furfriends, Unleashed by Petco is partnering with Bideawee the following Saturday, April 16 from noon to 4pm to help close more adoptions and send potential pets to their new "furever" homes. Bideawee cats and dogs will be available for adoption at the store, with several volunteers on hand to provide information about Bideawee's programs and services.
According to Bideawee's website, "All our animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, behaviorally-tested and ready to become the newest addition to your family." Potential adopters should bring the following items with them: ID, a copy of their building's bylaws (to make sure it's a pet-friendly environment), and all of the members in the household, including children and other animals, should be in attendance to make sure that all members get along with the new pet.
