The New York Historical Society is hosting a special children’s week-long event in honor of Presidents Day. Entitled History Days, the Historical Society is iniviting guests to show off their presidential history skills with family quiz shows, art making and presidential themed scavenger hunts. The event is aimed for children between the ages of 4-14 and is held from Saturday, February 18 through Sunday, February 26.
Guests can participate in a presidential history quiz, where teams can compete for special prizes and a secret grand prize, as well as presidential art making, where children will make promotional and campaign posters. The main event is the historical scavenger hunt where children will search for historical memorabilia within the museum, as well as learn about the lives and careers of some of the most influential presidents in our country's history.
Tickets begin at $5 for children, $10 for students, and $15 for adults.
