Columbus Tavern, chef Philip Conlon's most recent foray into the restaurant world, has garnered critical acclaim for its "trendy" comfort food." Now, Grub Street reports that the eatery has also garnered a celebrity clientele, with figures such as Sam Champion, weather anchor for Good Morning America, and Kemberly Richardson, from ABC 7 Eyewitness News, whose headquarters are nearby, are heading to the Upper West Side for their brisket and bone marrow burgers. Media personalities such as Chris Cuomo and John Stossel are also keen to "get a piece of the tavern" as the duo have supposedly made "quiet" investments in the establishment.
