As the final Harry Potter movie is released to DVD on 11/11/11, it seems only appropriate that the fifth annual Quidditch World Cup is coming to Randall’s Island. Enjoy a weekend of wizardly fun with the whole gang. Let the world of Harry Potter enchant you.
The annual event will include international high school and college Quidditch teams, running amuck with their broomsticks. Wizard rock will fill the air of Randall’s Island as you chomp down on turkey legs, BBQ, chili, Bertie Botts beans and for the grownups, Butterbeer and real beer.
New York Family also mentions that there will be circus performers, improv comedians and live owl demonstrations. So whip out those Hogwarts Halloween costumes and make your way to Randall’s Island.
