The Ghost of New York Tours will be hosting walking tours in America’s most haunted city as they make the hairs on your neck stand up with stories of ghosts, antique sites, ghostly sightings, and scandalous, strange and unusual tales of centuries past. The tour will allow attendees to hear legendary stories, and explore folklore as well as ghostly intrigues throughout Manhattan.
For those seeking an adventure of ghostly misfortune and paranoia, you can experience the tour of Edgar Allan Poe and His Ghostly Neighbors of Greenwich Village. This tour, which departs from 84 W. 3rd St., will give attendees the chance to search for the spirits of Eleanor Roosevelt and her pet dog Fala. Other ghosts of the New York University Library and Washington Square Arch will also be discovered with several Edgar Allan Poe sites along the way as tourgoers visit ghost central at Washington Square Park.

The indoor Ghost of New York Tour, which departs from the New York Transit Museum, explores the ghosts of Grand Central Terminal, and the best part is that you’ll be warm and cozy indoors.
Attendees of this tour will discover the ghostly commuters of the New York City rapid transit system such as August Belmont, Franklin Roosevelt and the Vanderbilts.
Tours are approximately 90 minutes in duration and a mile in length. Group rates and private tours are available.
