The talk at Alycia Kaback's New York City Women's Empowerment delved much deeper than shoes and hair.

An ethnically diverse group of 100 impeccably dressed women, and even a couple of husbands and boyfriends, eagerly gathered at Bennett Media Studio in the West Village over the weekend. The star-studded group of speakers shared their stories of motivation and inspiration, gave advice and tastefully promoted their personal projects.

The day-long program started with a greeting from the mastermind behind the program, businesswoman Alycia Kaback. Kaback owns a whopping seven businesses including a modeling agency and production company, "IT" Factor Productions.

The day's host was former radio personality Valerie Smaldone. She effortlessly wrapped up and summarized the intent of each of the speakers.

The speakers included baby-faced Teen Talk Live host and Nineteen: A Reflection of My Teenage Experience in an Extraordinary Life author Chelsea Krost. She emphasized the pursuit of dreams at any time in your life – she's only 20 years old. Fashion and style blogger Gala Darling colorfully shared her concept of "radical self-love." Media personality, relationship expert and author of upcoming book The Passionista Playbook for Rockstar Living Abiola Abrams encouraged the pursuit of dreams through her favorite quote by Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, "When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be." Public relations maven and lead partner at the Morris King Company, Judith King, told the women in attendance to be "fearless not reckless."

Other speakers included matromonial attorney and legal news correspondent Vikki Ziegler, Broadway producers Pat Addis and Fran Kirsmer, and celebrity publicist and manager Sibrena Stowe.
