A man robbed two Greenwich Village banks at gun point over the past three weeks, according to DNAinfo.

The bank robber is also suspected of threatening customers during the robberies.

The first incident occurred at the 769 HSBC branch at about 11:30 a.m. on the morning of January 26. After showing the bank tellers a black gun, witnesses said he threatened customers before demandind cash and fleeing on foot. It's unclear how much cash he made it out with.

The second incident took place at the 555 LaGuardia Place Citibank branch at 11 a.m. Valentine's Day morning. Similar to his first robbery, he showed off his gun before making threats and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police are actively searching for the suspect, who has been described as a 30-year-old man weighing about 190 lbs. and standing at about six feet tall.

He was wearing a black baseball hat, black ski jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, dark shoes and carried a gray and red knapsack during the incidents.
