Michael Aiello Michael Aiello is a musician and actor from Kenosha, Wisconsin. He studied history at the great University of Wisconsin Madison, where he earned his degree. He has been seen on the New York Stage at the 13th street Repertory Theatre and the 45th Street Theatre. Recently, he may be seen on the festival circuit in a short NYFA film "The Operation," where he plays a terrorist leader. His influences range from the Beatles to the Doobie Brothers, and Belle and Sebastian. He lives in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Emily Rupp Emily is a mid-west native hailing from Michigan. She made the move out to the Big Apple in 2007 to pursue an acting career and since then has been pursuing, and achieving, much more. Emily is a Sanford Meisner scholarship recipient and a graduate of The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, School for Film and Television where she received professional training for acting in front of the camera. Since Fall of 2009 Emily has been a company member of Project Girl Performance Collective and has become a published writer, a mentor and has now a director. Performing at prestigious venues such as The Robert Moss Theater, The Chicago State Theater, and even The White House, Emily has truly been an advocate for women's empowerment through her acting, spoken word and music. Emily is singer/songwriter/musician and often a performer with Underground Artists Live playing her original music & creative covers around New York City. As a musician she writes original pieces on the acoustic guitar and ukulele, as well as flute and piccolo accompaniment. Her music has been seen and heard throughout the U.S., televised on PBS National news, as well as on UK Radio Stations and German National TV Network, ARD. In Fall of 2011 Emily entered her first singer/songwriter contest for Recording Artists Development among some of New York City's incredibly talented artists. She was awarded with the Grand Prize which results in radio interviews, studio time, and a mixed and mastered track. Check out about.me/EmilyRupp & follow me on twitter for updates @EmilyARupp emily.rupp@hotmail.com L.A. Jr. is a promising, up and coming songwriter and vocal artist with years of performance training and experience since childhood. His talent provides a refreshing and unusual sound of music with a warm, smooth vocal tone over a welcoming variety of dance tracks, ballads, adult contemporary, reggae and hip hop tracks. He has frequented many nightclubs and other performance venues over the years such as Nell's, The Soul Cafe, The Knitting factory, The Tiki Room, Crash Mansion, etc., showcasing his talent, working toward the goal of landing a recording contract. Witness the rise of this talented undiscovered star in the near future Yolanda R. performs R&B, Soul, Pop, Jazz and Gospel. Her goal is authentic expression through her vision of musical creativity, while providing an enjoyable experience for the listener. Singing since age12, Yolanda R. has graced recordings, performances and choral groups with her soulful soprano. A native New Yorker, Yolanda trained classically at the famous LaGuardia High School of Music & the Arts (featured in the movie "Fame"), then won a vocal scholarship to Harlem School for the Arts. Since then she has performed at various open mics, karaoke venues, organizations and schools throughout NYC. Her first original single "Why" was released in December 2011. Years ago, after ending a short term relationship on a sour note, as is her custom, she pulled out a tape recorder and put her emotions into song. Forgetting about the piece until last summer when participating in a recording artist workshop, she selected the unfinished piece and created her first self-penned tune. Yolanda R. wrote the melody, lyrics and vocal arrangement and Phillip Carroll composed the music and produced the song. In December 2010 she was also the featured vocalist on Harmonik's "Nervana Remix" single. She is presently working on a full length album which will include R&B, Soul, & Jazz. This next recording may also dabble in some other genres as the mood strikes. Stay tuned and join Yolanda R. on her journey of musical development. With her heartfelt style, Yolanda's sweet sound is pure beauty that the world should hear.
20 year old singer-songwriter Noni Culotta hails from Houston, Texas, where she grew up watching her dad drive with his knees, one harmonica in each hand, as he jammed to the licks of the Grateful Dead and Dan Hicks. She has been writing her own pop/folk music on the piano since the age of fourteen and the guitar since she was seventeen. Currently she plays and sings in her blues/ragtime band, "The Thief and the Cobbler" with band-mate Elijah Bridges, and has written but not yet recorded two solo albums. Noni's dream is to play music for a living, and to one day be a featured artist on NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts. |
