Keswick is a market town and civil parish within the Borough of Allerdale in Cumbria, England, about five hours northwest of London. Historically, the town was recorded in the 13th century as "Kesewic," meaning 'farm where cheese is made.' The name also derives part of its history from the Old English word "cese," meaning cheese.
