Van Crashes Into Seventh Avenue Art Studio
DNAinfo/Tuan Nguyen
It's either a tragedy or a very outlandish art project.
A minivan jumped the curb and crashed into a glass-walled art studio on Seventh Avenue South and Commerce Street in the West Village, DNAinfo reports.
The crash destroyed the exterior walls and several works of art by the studio's owner, Philip Mortillaro.
Mortillaro, 62, was not inside the art studio when the crash occurred.
Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Bellevue Hospital.
