Start Your Morning off Right With Yoga at Brookyln Boulders - Williamsburg & Greenpoint - Activities & Health - NYC

 

Brooklyn Boulders is not only a fully functional rock climbing gym, but they also offer other exercise activities like yoga. Brooklyn Boulders offers daily yoga classes that are open to everyone, as well as a seasonal series of slackline classes and even a monthly yoga workshop.

Each day at Brooklyn Boulders includes different yoga classes. Stop over on a Wednesday at 7pm and take part in one of their Pilates classes. Instructor Christian McCarthy will lead you in an intense core-strengthening class to help lengthen and tone your muscles.

Wake up bright and early on Thursdays at 7am for a Sunrise AM Yoga class. Your instructor Tyler Pearce believes in helping you strengthen the connection between the mind, body and the spirit. Josh Nunn is available Fridays at 7pm for a Stretch Class. This is a great experience to increase you range of motion, improve recovery and reduce muscle tightness. You will learn the safest and most effective stretching techniques.

Make sure to participate in one of the Slackline Classes, beginning November 13. You will be sure to have a great time trying to stand on climbing webbing, while improving your balance for activities like yoga, acrobatics, snowboarding and more. This workshops will provide students with new skills for balancing through partner drills, core conditioning and the use of different positions on the line.
