John Reardon is best known for being the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Getting a Tattoo. Now, life imitates art with the opening of his new tattoo shop, the Greenpoint Tattoo Company on Meserole Avenue, where you can get one of Reardon's custom illustrations etched on your body... for life.
Reardon, who sees himself as an artist above all, has his favorite creations displayed proudly on the walls of his new establishment. The windows are inked with custom logos, his previous work is showcased on counters and a blank wall exists for the display of future creations.
"This shop is a chance not only to tattoo, but to display my work," Reardon tells Greenpoint News.
