This week, if you don't drink, don't bother.
The Anchored Inn has brought a taste of the sea to the booze lovers of Williamsburg. It's a new spot in East Williamsburg which has great rotating beers on tap and a Mexican-inspired menu. Their happy hour is a total steal - $10 for beer and a burger. The Anchored Inn is set to become popular really fast for its relaxed vibe and cool interior space. Get there soon so you mark your favorite booth before everyone else.
Luckily for the people of the 'Burg, the Nighthawk Cinema has a totally unexpected treat for rum lovers. With their showing of the knew Johnny Depp movie, The Rum Diaries, they will be offering rum punch to anyone who comes to see it. This might seem like a joke, but it's not, so take advantage of being inappropriately drunk in an inappropriate place whilst it doesn't get you thrown out of the movie.
Mondays to Thursdays, the Brooklyn Brewery offers amazing walking tours of their facilities to any who care to taste some true brew. Each tour gets beer samples of up to two pints, and there is the gift shop with more stock if you can't get enough of it. They are only taking tours until the end of December, so this is a 2011 event only!
