Calling all bakers and sweets-makers!
Come on out for the 2nd Annual Sugar Sweets Festival taking place Saturday, Oct. 15 at the corner of Havemeyer Street and Metropolitan Avenue starting at 11 a.m. This is set to be the ultimate bake sale and baking competition taking place this year, with all proceeds supporting the City Reliquary.
The event is looking for donations of fresh-baked treats from cookies to cupcakes, brownies, cakes and more! Come on out and show off your baking talents or simply drop off your treats for the cause.
The festival will be hosting a baking competition as well for the best non-professional bakers around. Bring your best sweets and be judged by a team of professional bakers. Categories include: Best Cookie, Best Brownie/Bar, Best Cupcake and Most New York.
Look forward to special contributions from professional bakeries like Saltie, Babycakes, Treat Truck and Oslo.
