Looking for something to do this week in the 'Burg and 'the 'Point?

The Brick Theater is running the production Action Philosophers! until Oct 16. This full throttle comedy is written by Crystal Skillman and directed by John Hurley. The show is based on the critically acclaimed graphic novel of the same name and is proud to make its return to the Brooklyn Stage.

While keeping with the theme of the arts, the AG Gallery is featuring their exhibit, Maureen Shields Solo Exhibition. The exhibit showcases the artwork of the California artist Maureen Shields as she experiments with color abstract works on nontraditional canvas' like plates and wood panels. Come experience this unique style straight from the West Coast until Oct. 30.

While the Brooklyn Brewery has been offering exquisite tours on the weekends, they recently made it possible to take advantage of this opportunity Monday through Thursday at 5 p.m. Twenty-five people will be able to see how beer is made and will have a chance to drink some of the best American beers. This is your chance to try some seasonal beers and bring home a great souvenir, unless you drink it all. It's that good.

After you have gone through your beer tasting you would be wise to head over to Williamsburg’s best art gallery, Barking Lizards Gallery. This is the best privately-owned gallery that you are going to find anywhere in Brooklyn. The gallery updates its collections frequently so visitors will always be viewing unique and original pieces. Featured pieces range from art jewelry, ceramics, photography, lighting and more!
